OVERVIEW:
Create your own chunky travel journal in this three-hour bookmaking workshop. Combining exposed spine stitching with a soft faux-leather wrap-around cover, you’ll make a durable and practical book designed for collecting notes, drawings and ideas on the go.
Working step-by-step, you’ll learn the foundations of hand bookbinding while constructing your journal from start to finish. You’ll explore the tools, materials and processes involved, building confidence with measuring, folding, piercing and stitching as you make a substantial finished book to take away and use.
