We believe that creative practice thrives on exchange.
Short & Few might have a studio and project space, but what we do isn't limited to what happens inside it.
We come to you, working with organisations across the arts, education, heritage and cultural sectors to take art, making and creative learning into galleries, museums, libraries, schools, community spaces, festivals and other places where people already are.
PREVIOUS PARTNERSHIPS:
We believe art can happen anywhere, that everyone has something to teach and something to learn, and that creative practice gets better when ideas, skills and experiences are exchanged. Working in different places, with different people and organisations, gives us opportunities to reach new audiences, respond to different contexts and create experiences that couldn't happen in our own space alone.

ARTIST TALKS
Short & Few brings together artistic practice, creative programme development and ten years of arts teaching experience in the lifelong learning sector. We use that experience to develop activities for different audiences, settings and aims. That might mean helping a community engage with a collection, creating a meaningful work placement for young people, or simply getting a room full of people making.
Sometimes you'll know exactly what you need; sometimes you'll just know what you'd like to achieve. Either is fine. We can work with you to develop the creative response, drawing on what each of us knows best. That's the point of collaboration for us: combining skills, knowledge, resources and different ways of thinking to make something better than either of us could make alone.
