WORKSHOPS
SINGLE SESSION MAKING EVENTS
practical, hands-on sessions designed to get you making
Our workshops are structured around learning through doing. You'll be guided through a creative process step by step, develop practical skills and leave with finished work, new ideas and the confidence to continue exploring at home. We offer half day workshops (3 hours) and full day workshops (5 to 6 hours).
SHORT COURSES
WEEKLY SESSIONS THAT BUILD ON YOUR LEARNING

Short courses offer the time and space to explore ideas in greater depth. With each session building on the last, you'll gain confidence, refine your skills and develop your own creative projects with support from an artist-educator. Short courses tend to run over a period of six weeks, often with an exhibition of work at the end to showcase what you have been working on.

Alongside each exhibition you'll often find talks, workshops or activities that help you engage more deeply with the work on display.

Our talks offer a chance to step behind the finished piece and hear about the thinking, process and decisions that shaped it. Whether you're an artist yourself or simply curious, you'll leave with a better understanding of creative practice and plenty of ideas to take into your own work.
