TRAVEL JOURNAL WORKSHOP, £50

This workshop is being held on SUNDAY 6th JULY 2025, 1pm- 4pm

In this 3 hour workshop we will make a durable and functional travel journal with a wrap-around faux-leather cover (various colours to choose from). Making use of a pamphlet stitch, we will plan a decorative stitch for the spine, and both carefully and precisely cut our materials to size for a compact finish. We’ll start the workshop practicing the stitching technique to build confidence and know-how, and then get our craft on to make a single and stunning journal.

This workshop is designed for those who either have some bookmaking experience, or consider themselves a confident maker (has done other forms of paper or fabric crafts before).​ It will require patience and attention to detail, and we will be using sharp tools such as craft knives, needles and awls.
