This workshop is being held at Moss & Moor Garden Centre, Ilkley on SUNDAY 18th MAY 2025, 10am – 1pm.

We will experiment with the lino cutting tools, exploring what marks can be made and how positive and negative designs are cut. We will cut a range of test designs to make a collaborative ‘tapestry’ design to help us become confident with the cutting process, and test how the designs will look when printed through taking rubbings. You will be introduced to how inking and printing works, using a hand-finishing technique called burnishing.
You will then design, cut and print your own single colour image - as we're at Moss & Moor Garden Centre we are encouraging botanical, natural world and mindful themes and designs, with reference images to work from - but feel free to design and print whatever…
