This workshop will introduce you to cyanotypes – the original “blue print” (also known as “sun prints”) that creates striking blue and white prints. It is dubbed as 'alternative photography' in so much as it is not seen as a traditional photographic process - certainly nowadays where we rely heavily on digital cameras and digitally imagery. It is a beautifully simple process and possibilities are endless.
In the workshop you will be taken through the process, some history and lots of examples to illustrate the potential of the process; and spend your time experimenting with the process to make up to 10 prints of your own to take away, using a collection of seasonal botanical cuttings from Moss & Moor.
