About the event
An introduction to bookmaking workshop for those who have not done any bookmaking before, or need a refresher.
OVERVIEW:
In this workshop you will explore how folding, stitching and simple construction methods can be combined to create functional, beautiful hand-bound books. The pace is lively and hands-on, with demonstrations followed by immediate making so you can learn through doing. This session is designed to feel productive and energising, giving you a solid foundation to continue exploring at home or to progress to the Hard Cover Japanese Stab Stitch workshop the following day.
